Champion for Families

Hello to all my family, friends and co-workers. This year, we will be once again helping the Ronald McDonalds House Charity here in Manitoba by raising funds for the Champion for Families event (Formerly the Red Shoe Crew Walk).

Champion for Families is a fun virtual event encouraging participants to move forward and raise pledges in support of RMHC Manitoba families throughout the summer months. Participants can walk, run, bike, hike, swim - the possibilities are endless! All funds raised through Champion for Families stay local and help keep families close to their sick children where and when it’s needed most.

We move for the 866 families that needed 3892 nights of accommodation from communities across Manitoba & beyond! Your participation will help us raise funds & spread awareness for families far from home due to childhood illness or injury. Our team will move a total of 218 km throughout June and July and August in honour of the longest RMHC family stay last year – 218 days!

In the past seven years our team has raised almost $87,000 with your help, last year alone we surpassed our very aggressive $20,000 goal and we would really appreciate your help to reach that goal once again by following the link below.
